Part III Fact Checking the Fact Checkers
Genetic vaccines caused changes in menstrual cycles and breakthrough bleeding in post-menopausal women
We know that any change in a woman’s menstrual cycle has an effect on fertility. Irregularities in menstrual cycle length may decrease the odds of conceiving in that cycle, leading to infertility, or low birth weight. Both longer and shorter cycles are more likely to be spontaneously aborted after conception, comparing with 30- to 31-day cycles.
Even small changes in these routine bodily functions related to general health and fertility may have a large adverse impact on multiple aspects of women’s quality of life, including emotional problems and worries, physical complaints, reduced participation in daily activities, and sexual functioning.
Let’s continue examining the fact check of the claims made by Dr. Janci Lindsay in April 2021.
Claim: “Lindsay further claimed that reports of miscarriages and menstrual irregularities in the U.S. Vaccine Adverse Reporting System (VAERS) provide evidence that COVID-19 vaccines might affect fertility.”
In Part II I addressed the reports of miscarriage following the COVID-19 genetic vaccines. Part II of the Health Feedback fact check can be found here:
Let’s now look at the evidence surrounding the reports of menstrual irregularities following the COVID-19 genetic vaccines.
HEALTH FEEDBACK FACT CHECK
“There is currently insufficient evidence to draw a causal link between COVID-19 vaccination and reports on menstrual irregularities, as Health Feedback explained in this review. The gynecologist Jen Gunter explained in her blog The Vajenda that these effects could be due to the vaccine itself, the immune system response to the vaccine, or other factors such as fever, discomfort, or stress related to vaccination.”
WHAT THE DATA SHOWS
COVID-19 genetic vaccines are causing changes in menstrual cycles and breakthrough bleeding among post-menopausal women.
